Don't Worry Be Capy

Squidsweeper

From Capybara Go! Wiki and Guides

The diving/jellyfish game was last called "Underwater Adventure". It's a minesweeper-esque scrolling board with prizes and reward points..

Underwater Adventure[edit | edit source]

This is an event that came up three times already, and thus likely to come up again.

It's mostly a luck-driven game type. But rewards are quite neat, as usual. Arguably it's trailing slightly behind others, but the reward mixture is on par; and after all: plenty of free stuff. Also it lasts the usual 7 days.

Event token[edit | edit source]

Through the usual mission tasks you can acquire around 800 jellyfish.

Squid.png
  • 35x15 from missions
  • 20x10 from missions
  • 15*5 from free Pass
  • and you could buy up to 300 for 100 gems each

Those are used to burst bubbles, obstacles and reward token:

  • silver seashells are the basic token
  • gold seashells the premium one

Bursting bubbles can also yield direct prizes:

  • legendary keys
  • wishing scrolls
  • gems
  • S-equipment shards

And further weaponry, like torches and bombs. Picking up more jellyfish often only makes sense for the 2x, 3x, 5x ones. Unless a 1x jellyfish also scrolls down the depth.

Treasure chests don't require squids. You can just hit them repeatedly, until empty.

Bombs are particularly save-worthy for seaweed/algae clumps.

You also get torches from the mission tasks to eliminate vertical rows.

Therefore you just have to make your way downwards, whilst optimizing for sea shells. Obstacle tiles require two squids/jellyfish to pop. So it's preferable to navigate around them.

Strategies[edit | edit source]

There isn't much strategy to it. You'll definitely get the 15*5 Squid.pngJellyfish from the Pass. There's plenty of drive-by Squids, Bombs, Torches along the way.

One thing you might want to forgo is hunting singular silver seashells, when there are 5x 10x and 20x variants around. It's worthy to forgo some in favor of diving downwards.

With the free tokens it's plenty reasonable to make it down to depth 1200 for the Awakening Core Selection Box (including Universal.pngUniversal Crystal selection). And should you be short of those, it might be worth it investing some gems. (After all, it's cheaper than waiting twice for Treasure Team and spending 2x32000 gems instead.)

Rewards[edit | edit source]

F2P can easily attain ~500 gold seashells.

While needs will vary among player levels:

  • Selectable Limited Brand (Mecha,Lava;joker,Spellblade) seems worthwhile.
  • Selectable S-Brand probably
  • While the Awakening-boxes are probably meant for higher ranking / P2W players.
  • Silver seashells should probably go into scrolls, perhaps books, or whatever else is in demand.

Guild membership yields additional gem rewards from communal efforts.
