Specialization

From Capybara Go! Wiki and Guides
Specialization.png

Specialization is unlocked after Level 51 in the main game. It's an extension of Inheritance with much more fine-grained abilities and buffs. It additionally requires Hard Mode.pngHard Mode progression items. The entry point is the Specialization.pngSpecialization icon in the Equipment.pngEquipment tab, right behind Divine Hammer.pngArtifacts.

There's two trees within Specialization:

Adventure[edit | edit source]

Uses mostly Adventure Books.pngAdventure Books to progress. It's largely a linear mesh:

General[edit | edit source]

For general progression, you'll need Specialization Points.pngSpecialization Points - which are easiest to obtain from Hard Mode.

This mesh is divided into four branches (directions N, W, S, E).

  • PvP (Arena)
  • Relics (Artifacts)
  • Beings (Pets)
  • Mounts

What to upgrade depends entirely on your preferred subgames. PvP is suitable for Arena and Guild Battle modes.

Most users may wish to start with Divine Hammer.pngArtifacts, then go for Pets.pngPets, and lastly Gold Horseshoe.pngMounts. You'll often have to bypass some nodes before you get near the weaponry/animals you actually have deployed.

Relics (W)[edit | edit source]

(Click image to see large version)

Mounts (E)[edit | edit source]

This is actually longer than the Relics branch.

Beings (S)[edit | edit source]

PvP (N)[edit | edit source]

The PVP tree isn't quite that interesting. There's just some nodes for PVP-only HP/DEF/ATK +3% upgrades.

Upgrade Strategy[edit | edit source]

Browse through the tree before doing any upgrades. Watch out for the updates most suitable for your build, and aim for those. Specialization is less suitable to randomly progress in multiple directions.

  • You can't downgrade nodes again and recoup Spec points or Adv books.
  • Any upgrade in either Adventure or General tree will net a Level point (top left). Most nodes are HP/ATK/DEF upgrades again, like in the Adventurer Inheritance.
  • If you want to, preferably max out ATK before going onto HP or DEF. Attack points are most useful to general progression. (Opinions of late-game players may vary.)
  • It's probably best to use singular upgrades to work your way through the tree, and later-game max out the most beneficial ones first.
  • You'll have to unlock all paths leading to the next big node to unlock it.
