Whisperer Build and Guide

From Capybara Go! Wiki and Guides

Capybara Go! Whisperer.pngWhisperer Build Guide will focus on various aspects of the Dagger-specific combat style. Getting Dagger focused equipment, pets, skill options will allow better performance and in this article, we will cover all the recommended elements to make the build work better. It's part of Capybara Go! Guides series, where you can find the rest of the guides on the game.

The first basic requirement for the build to work is to have Whisperer.pngWhisperer bow. Everything else will be built around that and it's recommended for it to be at least Legendary tier for extra bonuses. Usually before that it's easier to use non-S weapons since it's easier to get it to the higher tier.

Other than that, you should consider that going Whisperer.pngWhisperer route will be heavily focused on critical chance, daggers and their effect.

All the recommendations in this guide will vary depending on the account progression stage and maybe some personal preference.

Whisperer Build Mechanics[edit source]

The main idea of the build is to get as many critical strikes as possible from main weapon, which will trigger Whisperer.pngWhisperer to throw 2 daggers on each weapon Crit Hit.

As you progress your run and pick skills prioritize more Critical Chance options, Dagger skills like Combo Dagger.pngCombo Dagger, Dagger Cooldown.pngDagger Cooldown, Bolt Dagger.pngBolt Dagger and so on.

Most of damage will come from the Skills, so changing from Basic weapon damage to the skill damage will make more sense. Try to balance out the skills depending on the situation, you will pretty much get all Hits effects every round if you have skill for them. Getting multiple Bolts will be easy with Bolt Dagger.pngBolt Dagger for Shock Discharge.pngShock Discharge to trigger, you can use it if you need it.

As always balance the survivability and damage based on what you need more in the current situation.

Equipment[edit source]

Equipment.pngEquipment recommendations for the Whisperer Build aren't that strict, the main thing to have is a Whisperer.pngWhisperer Bow and Guardian's Ring.pngGuardian's Ring as a starters.

Here are the recommendations for each equipment slot for the Whisperer Build:

  • Weapon: Whisperer.pngWhisperer
  • Wear/Armor: Tunic.pngTunic for damage or Dragon's Breath Armor.pngDragon's Breath Armor for extra survivability
  • Ring: 2xGuardian's Ring.pngGuardian's Ring. Dragon Ball Ring.pngDragon Ball Ring might be a good option at Legendary rarity for extra Basic Attack Crit Rate that will trigger more daggers.
  • Accessory: Bloody Grail.pngBloody Grail is the best option especially at Legendary+ rarity. Proof of Glory.pngProof of Glory is always a good alternative for a bit of extra damage, but most importantly 25% Damage reduction at Mythic rarity. Other than that you can go for whatever you want, like stick with Icy Bubble.pngIcy Bubble from the Beginners Guide

Pets[edit source]

Pets.pngPets recommendations for the Whisperer build will pretty much match most of the pets recommendations. The main difference is that Unicorn.pngUnicorn is really useful because of critical chance bonuses which will not only boost Weapon Crit allowing more Daggers from the Whisperer.pngWhisperer, but also boost the damage output in combination with Crit Mastery.pngCrit Mastery.

Those are recommended Pets for the Whisperer Build:

  • Unicorn.pngUnicorn - Crit Chance boost
  • Little Elle.pngLittle Elle - Healing
  • Slime King.pngSlime King - Extra Combo and Counter. More Combos and Counters - means more chances for crit for Daggers and extra damage.
  • Elsa.pngElsa - Extra DMG. Good replacement for either Slime King if you still need Healing or Little Elle for extra Damage increase.

Legacies[edit source]

Scout and Ghost are the best Inheritance.pngInheritances to start with, they will help with Crit DMG and Skill DMG.

Working on Scout major nodes will be a great help, since they focus on the Dagger damage and Critical aspects.

Ghost major nodes help with more damage with the skills, but it should be secondary after the Scout ones, especially since they take more time and more expensive.

As for the Legacy.pngHeroes and Brands, those are the ones to consider outside of the best S ones:

  • Bone Club Golem - it will get you Heavy Strike that will boost Weapon Attack Crit Rate.
  • Sharp Rogue - additional dagger every 4/3 turns and Mythic rarity will give chance to trigger Fire Wave for all the daggers, that's a major bonus to the damage.
  • Phantom Assassin will add 10% crit to the Daggers, which should increase the damage.

Other options are up to you depending on your current situation and availability of the Brands.
