Abyssal Realm and Dungeon Guide

From Capybara Go! Wiki and Guides

Abyssal Realm is a long-term permanent event which is essentlial for long-term progression. It is being used to farm Gems for the Equipment.pngEquipment and Origin Stones for Abyssal Shop Exchange.

You can visit Capybara Go! Guides for more useful guides on the game. Make sure to read Capybara Go! Ultimate Beginners Guide for overall game guidance.

Abyss Dungeon is a PvE challenge mode with 150 floors with new enemies, new skills, and stages that test your capybara to the max!

Use Realm Key to challenge floors. You start out with 3 daily Realm Key, and get two from ads. You can get additional ones from completing tasks, and 4 from the free version of the abyss pass.

This mode is how you obtain the gems for equipment. The higher the level, the better the rewards. You also obtain Origin Stone from here, used in the Exchange Shop for this mode for prizes.

Each floor attempt, you will complete the fights/objectives of the map to activate the next section of the floor.

Failing or quitting a floor consumes no materials (rift keys and blessings).

Floor Information[edit source]

Upon starting a floor, you are given a wheel to roll with four options: Big Win, Major Win, Minor Win, and Bad Luck. These influence your map choices for each section of the floor:

  • Big Win: All Mythic choices for maps
  • Major Win: Mythic and Legendary options for maps
  • Minor Win: Epic and Legendary options for maps
  • Bad Luck: Only Epic options for maps

The higher the rarity, the more difficult it will be. Potential for better rewards as well.

"Abyssal Traits" will begin being applied starting at certain floors:

  • Floor 10+: During battle, equipment quality is limited to Mythic or below.
  • Floor 20+: During battle, inheritance quality is limited to Mythic or below.
  • Floor 30+: Pet Stats -25%.
  • Floor 40+: During battle, adventurer star level is limited to 6 ⭐ or below.
  • Floor 50+: Mount & Artifact DMG -25%.
  • Floor 60+: During battle, equipment quality is limited to Legendary or below.
  • Floor 70+: During battle, inheritance quality is limited to Legendary or below.
  • Floor 80+: Pet Stats -50%.
  • Floor 90+: During battle, adventurer star level is limited to 3 ⭐ or below.
  • Floor 100+: Mount & Artifact DMG -50%.
  • Floor 110+: Final Stats -10%
  • Floor 120+: Pet Stats -75%.
  • Floor 130+: Mount & Artifact Damage -75%.
  • Floor 140+: During battle, adventurer ⭐ effects are disabled.
  • Floor 150: Final Stats -20%.

The traits stack on each other.

Map Types[edit source]

Each map can be of the following types: Monster, Cursed Chest, Angel, and Demon. All follow the idea of fighting mobs and fighting a boss (not including Epic maps), but some have special events: Monster: You fight the boss that is outlined in the map tile (that you select) at the end. Cursed Chest: Obtain a Abyss Chest with Origin Stone (more info below). Angel: Get skill from Angel at the end. Demon: Get the option to make a deal with Demon for a skill at the end.

Skills[edit source]

As you progress through the floor, you can select up to 5 skills to fight.

You can refresh the selection up to 3 times to roll different skills.

Getting the same skill will upgrade the level of the skill and add an ability to it.

Skills can have a dmg coefficient, type, and cooldowns (two types). Not all of them will have all of these.

  • Amount before it first attacks.
  • Amount of time before a skill is used again.

Certain gems will augment skills and their effects.

Rewards[edit source]

Gems drop as rewards from mobs and bosses in the floor. The higher you go, the rate for certain types of gems increases.

  • You get increased rarity gems drop rate as you advance floors. Specific gem rarity unlocks at certain floors:
    • Normal Gems starting at floor 1
    • Fine Gems starting at floor 2
    • Rare Gems starting at floor 11
    • Epic Gems starting at floor 21
    • Legendary Gems starting at floor 31
    • Mythic Gems starting at floor 41
    • Immortal Gems starting at floor 51
  • Gems can have a "S1" tag on them. These gems have special effects applicable for the current Abyss Dungeon, that will not work once the season ends.
    • They will still work outside of the Abyss Dungeon.
  • You are not guaranteed to get the given gem type on a floor. Check question mark next to each floor for rates.
  • Blessings and multipliers can get you more rewards (covered below).

If you clear a given floor within 60 turns, you can also earn the "Speedrun Chest" reward. Rewards range from Gem.pngGems to Origin Stone to slotted gem chests.

You earn Origin Stone upon killing the final boss. Starts at 160 floor 1, and goes up 4 each floor.

The multiplier can be selected where you begin a run in the abyss. It goes up to 5x, using Realm Key. This allows for more rewards to be gained in a run.

  • This does NOT allow you to clear more floors at once! The multiplier is per floor!

Important things to remember for a run[edit source]

The bar in the top fills with "Rift Progress" as you continue through the floor. Once it is full, you will fight final boss.

The yellow line indicates the number of rounds/120 you've taken in a run. If you reach the max you fail the floor.

Some map sections within a floor have their own round limit (cursed chest for example). The same as above applies here.

The crossed swords show the number of rounds of mobs you should expect to face.

This number can be cut short if rift progress is full, as the choice to fight boss appears. This applies for cursed chest, angel, and demon maps too.

Once again, quitting or failing a floor does not consume any materials, such as keys and blessings. Try as much as you want!

Blessings[edit source]

Blessings are items you can apply during a floor run to gain extra drops upon clearing. There are three types of blessings:

  • Legendary Blessing use unlocks at floor 31
  • Mythic Blessing use unlocks at floor 41
  • Immortal Blessing use unlocks at floor 51.

You get two free Legendary Blessing through the pass at floor 24 and 29. You can also get Mythic Blessing for 7500 Origin Stone in the shop. Otherwise, you must pay to acquire more.

Blessings guarantee an additional gem drop of a specific rarity depending on which is used:

  • Legendary Blessing can drop an Epic or Legendary Gem
  • Mythic Blessing a Legendary or Mythic
  • Immortal Blessing a Mythic or Immortal

Using a higher multiplier means more blessings can be used in one floor (up to 5). This does not enhance the blessing's extra rewards.

It is recommended to use these when you are stuck in progression, but preferably at higher floors, due to the drop rate for certain gem types increasing.

This will allow you to get the better tier gem out of a blessing more often (for example, acquiring a Legendary Gem from the Legendary Blessing more than an Epic Gem).

Why are Abyss Chest maps important?[edit source]

NOTE: These start appearing at floor 20+!

Outside of clearing a floor, Abyss Chest maps are the only other way to acquire Origin Stone (at the moment). They will drop Origin Stone 100% of the time upon clearing.

The Origin Stone is equal to the amount the floor drops (if it drops 364 Origin Stone from final boss, chest will too). Mythic and Legendary Abyss Chest maps drop the same amount of Origin Stone.

If you fill your bar on the top during this map prior to reaching chest, you won't get anything. The same applies if you don't finish in the required rounds.

How do I maximize the Origin Stone I can get?[edit source]

  1. Once you reach a standstill in pushing Abyss Dungeon floors, enable x5 multiplier (with or without blessings).
  2. Before you reach the final boss phase (bar is full on top), ensure you have encountered atleast 3x Abyss Chest map selections throughout your run. Rarity does not matter.
  3. If you have not, exit the run (you don't lose Realm Key). Keep trying till you have rolled 3x Abyss Chest maps (you can roll more).
  4. Complete the run (beat the boss), you will get x20 the amount of Origin Stone compared to normal! (See image attached).

You can also try re-rolling day 1 repeatedly as you can get a Abyss Chest map on the first day to maximize your chances. You do NOT need to roll all 3 at the same time, just have atleast 3 by final boss.

Filling out your Dungeon Atlas[edit source]

As you progress through more floors and unlock more maps/mobs/skills, you will fill entries in your atlas. Filling each entries provides rewards:

  • Maps: 20 Gem.pngGems each.
  • Monsters have different Gem.pngGems values:
  • Skills: 10 Gem.pngGems each

Tip: In earlier floors of Abyss Dungeon, it is recommended to pick a wide variety of skills and maps. This allows you to fill your entries faster and reap rewards!

The same goes for the hero skills. Acquiring higher levels means unlocking each section of an individual skill for rewards. Do this how you want.

General Abyssal Dungeon Tips[edit source]

  • Push as high as you can. You aren't penalized for attempting a floor (you lose nothing), so see how high you can to reap better rewards!
  • Pick Abyss Chest maps when given the option over other maps. Read its section for why.
  • Unlock gem slots (when able) and use your gems (particularly higher grade + ones that synergize with your build). This boosts your stats in many cases and can give you the power needed to beat a floor.
  • At higher floors, it will become increasing difficult to progress. Do not continue picking random skills, pick those that work with your particular build.
    • Aim for higher leveled skills overall (in later floors). They deal more damage as they are not as nerfed as you will be at higher floors, meaning they can come in clutch when you least expect.
  • You can save your keys. You still will gain the daily ones at reset, so you don't need to worry about losing any.
  • Use your blessings when stuck! This let's you get a guaranteed gem from a run if you pass.
  • Exiting the app will not end an abyss run. It lets you rejoin it as you would a chapter or dungeon dive.
  • Note: If you make it to floor 58 of the abyss, the abyss pass will automatically progress to the next pass, and you cannot buy the old one.
  • For the exchange shop, the Realm Key purchase resets daily. It is recommended to not buy these, they are a waste of Origin Stone.
  • It is recommended to hold onto your Origin Stone till towards the end of the event, and to avoid focusing on cosmetics (for better rewards). The choice is yours at the end of the day.
